Rules for metering time

This screen lets you configure how time is charged:

• Only at low speed — you set a speed threshold; when speed drops below it, the time charge is added to the meter instead of the distance charge.
• Always — the time charge is added to the meter on every tick, regardless of speed.

Version 1.6 introduced “waiting time at trip start”. The idea: you arrive at the pickup address, start the trip, and if the fare has a five-minute waiting allowance, the app counts down from five minutes to zero without touching the meter. Once the allowance runs out, the time charge begins according to the fare’s rules. This feature is entirely optional.
