    Terms of Use – Taximeter 55

    Welcome to Taximeter 55 (“App”), operated by Kalimex-Consulting s.r.o. (“we”, “our”, “us”).
    By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.
    If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use it.

    1. About the App

    Taximeter 55 is a professional GPS-based taximeter app designed for drivers and businesses to calculate fares, log trips, and generate receipts. The App is provided for informational and business support purposes only.

    2. License to Use

    We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
    You may not:

    • Reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
    • Use the App for illegal purposes
    • Interfere with its normal operation

    3. Purchases

    Some features or removing limitations in the app may require purchasing a subscription.

    • Subscriptions & Payments: Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play. By purchasing, you agree to their payment terms.
    • Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel any auto-renewing subscription via your App Store / Google Play account settings. Refunds are subject to store policies.

    4. Accuracy of Calculations

    While we strive to ensure accurate fare calculations, GPS data and device sensors may be affected by signal quality, hardware, or environment.
    You are responsible for verifying the results before presenting them to passengers or using them for billing.

    5. Data & Privacy

    Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data, and your rights under GDPR.
    By using the App, you consent to such data processing.

    6. User Content

    You are solely responsible for any notes, trip data, custom tariffs or company logo you enter into the App. Do not use illegal or harmful content.

    7. Third-Party Services

    The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, cloud backup).
    We are not responsible for their content or availability.

    8. Disclaimers

    The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
    We do not guarantee:

    • Continuous or error-free operation
    • Accuracy of GPS signals
    • Compliance of your use with local taxi regulations

    9. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
    • Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the last 12 months.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Czech Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles.
    You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.

    11. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or our website. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
