Spotify integration - Information page for Spotify's team review.

This page is intended for Spotify personnel reviewing the integration request for the Speedometer 55 PRO app.

At its best, the built in music player would have the same extent of integration with Spotify SDK as it is currently having with the Apple Music app:

Currently, tapping on an album art button opens the music selector:

Currently Apple Music Kit allows to open the playlists list and add songs or playlists to the “playing queue”. If possible, the app would use this with the Spotify iOS SDK.

Spotify music will surely have a separate playing queue. User will use Spotify or Apple Music in complete isolation by picking either new Spotify player option or existing Apple Music player option. The app will not mix the music/queues from these two options.

If adding music to the playing queue is not available for the Spotify SDK. The app would provide a button to open the Spotify app so user would manage the playing queue in it.
