Rally library
Rally books for the Rally computer mode: the event identity, segments, course notes, route and session settings that the app can load with one tap. Open this page inside the app (Rally settings > ⋯ > Load rally > “Rally library”) and tap a “Load” link; the app downloads the book, sets the target average speed you picked for the session and every segment, and offers to switch to the Rally computer mode with the book’s units.
The summary that appears says what arrived — a road book, which is a route and the notes along it with nothing about time, or a regularity rally, which adds the segments, target average speed and ideal time of a timed event. The books on this page are regularity rallies.
Reading this in a browser? The “Load” links only work inside the app, so open this page there.
main MENU > MODES > Rally computer > MENU on the rally control panel > Open rally settings > the ⋯ button > Load rally > Rally library — then tap the load link for the rally you need.
You can also import a rally book from Files (Rally settings > ⋯ > Load rally > “Import a rally book from files”)
or open a .json rally book sent to you. Everything you load is kept in My rallies on the device.
See Rally book for the whole flow.
If you have a rally book you would like to share here, please contact the app developer.
Silver State Classic Challenge — Nevada SR-318, Lund → Hiko (90.00 miles)

The rally book is an unofficial driving aid based on the SSCC course notes (rev 2020-12-27). Verify all mileages, checkpoints and rules with the organizers. The book carries the event title, logo and this disclaimer, shown in the app when loaded.
Open-road time-speed-distance challenge: one 90-mile stage, a fixed target average speed per class, scored on the time variance at the finish (and at checkpoints #3, #6 and the finish for the Check Point Challenge).
The book contains:
- No segments — one 90-mile stage at the single target average speed you pick (whole-session off perfect time).
- 85 course notes taken from the official SSCC course notes (turns, mile markers with the official mileage to SET, checkpoints, finish and shutdown), shown live on the rally control panel by the distance driven.
- The NV-318 route, so the course is drawn on the rally map and in the live map gauge, and 83 of the notes carry a position along it for the map.
- Geo anchors that correct the odometer at the official Start, CP#3 and Finish coordinates only. The other note positions are shown on the map but never move your distance, because they are derived from the route rather than surveyed. The published CP#6 coordinate is inconsistent with its mileage, so it is left as a note only.
- Session settings: whole-session off perfect time, odometer snap on split, the tech (maximum) speed and minimum speed of the class you load — Touring 124 / 80 mph, Grand Touring 140 mph, Grand Sport 165 mph, Super Sport 180 mph, with the minimum speed 30 mph below the target above Touring and no tech maximum in the 180 mph class (2026 rulebook) — and voice callouts of the course notes 0.3 mi ahead (callouts are on by default; Session options is where to turn them off). The course notes show on the control panel, so the gauges are free for total distance, total timer, session average and Rally map. App version 6.4 beta build 4 and later applies your class’s values from the link; earlier versions load the Touring 95 mph values whichever class you pick, so check the tech and minimum speed in Rally settings > Session options against the rulebook.
- On load, choose the book’s gauges and colors or keep your own. The book places total distance and total timer on the top row, average speed and Rally map on the bottom row, with black gauge backgrounds.
Pick your target speed class:
- Load for 95 mph
- Load for 100 mph
- Load for 105 mph
- Load for 110 mph
- Load for 115 mph
- Load for 120 mph
- Load for 125 mph

Official documents (Silver State Classic Challenge®):
The rally book is provided as a driving aid only, based on the SSCC course notes revised 2020-12-27; the official course notes, rulebook and event officials prevail. Please verify the mileages and checkpoints at the drivers' meeting. Using a rally computer counts as “Advanced Timing” under the SSCC rules.
Is a phone rally computer allowed? Yes — it counts as "Advanced Timing"
SSCC does not forbid GPS or phone apps. The rulebook only asks you to declare how you keep time, and an app like this one puts you in the “Advanced Timing” group — the default, with no penalty attached.
- Advanced Timing is legal. You are scored in your speed class either way. “Basic Timing” is an opt-in declaration that only adds eligibility for the separate Basic Timing placings by division.
- A phone can never be Basic Timing. The Basic list is stopwatches and watches, an OEM car GPS, and a consumer, off-the-shelf GPS or calculator — explicitly “not part of a Smart Phone”. Declaring Basic Timing and then using a rally computer is a disqualification, so declare Advanced Timing.
- Nothing in the list of disqualification reasons is about GPS or navigation. They are about speed and conduct: exceeding your tech speed, finishing 10 mph or more above your target speed, dropping below the minimum speed, disregarding a flag, passing the pace car in the Touring division, and so on.
- Mount the phone. Tech inspection checks for no loose items and secure camera/GPS mounts. A device in front of an occupant must be hard mounted, out of the path of a live airbag and not blocking the view out of the car.
- The organizers' timing is the official one. SSCC times the event by GPS with a manual backup; your own reading is a driving aid, never a result.
SSCC decides whether a device is Basic or Advanced, and that decision is final. If you are in any doubt, ask the Chief of Tech or the Rookie Liaison before you register.
This summarizes the section “Basic Timing/Advanced Timing” of the 2026 rulebook , which is reissued every year — check the current one for your event.
