Unlimited taxi trips

So that the app can be judged on real work rather than a screenshot, Taximeter 55 is free — and free means the whole meter, not a crippled one. Fares, receipts, the trips log, the fare calculator and the payment providers are all there from the first launch.

The one limit is the number of trips: 10 taxi trips in the free app. The meter counts a trip when you finish it, and the app tells you how many you have left as you approach the end.

Removing the limit

Removing it is one purchase, and there are three ways to make it:

• a monthly subscription,
• a yearly subscription,
• or a one-time purchase, which never expires.

They all do the same thing — unlimited trips. Pick whichever suits how you work; a one-time purchase suits a driver who intends to keep the app for years, a subscription suits someone trying it for a season.

Already bought it once?

If you bought the paid version of the app in the past, or bought this upgrade before, you do not pay again. Use Restore purchases on the upgrade reminder screen, or Restore on the upgrade screen, and the limit is lifted.

Restoring uses the Apple ID that made the original purchase, so if you have since changed Apple ID, sign in with the old one first.
