Fields to send to Square app

On this screen you can pick what should be sent to Square in addition to total amount to pay.

Fields that you pick here are taken from the taximeter receipts and added to the “note” field that is the only field available from Square to populate note in Square’s receipt.

Square app limitations on receipt notes

Square app does record sent to it note/detail in its entirety, but when it comes to email receipt that it sends - is it limited to few lines of text:

As you can see above Square strips anything beyond very few lines of text in their email receipt. Even if whole note is recorded in the transaction information on Square’s web:

Please take this note truncation into account when picking fields to transfer to Square. Over time, the length of note accepted by Square for email receipts may increase as well.
