Manage Pinned Tracks — Show, Hide, Style and Save Track Sets
Pinned tracks let Speedometer 55 keep selected recorded tracks visible on the live map, so you can compare your current position with previous tracks or keep useful reference tracks in view.
Best for
- drivers who want earlier routes visible on the map while navigating or recording
- users who compare several past runs in the same area
- users who want quick presets for recurring groups of reference tracks
Choose pinned tracks
Choose pinned tracks when you want one or more recorded tracks to stay visible on the map as colored reference lines.
Choose normal track browsing
Use normal trip or track browsing instead when you only want to inspect a single recorded track and do not need it to remain visible on the live map.
What you get
- up to several saved tracks visible together on the live map
- per-track color and line-width control
- the option to hide a pinned track without unpinning it
- quick access to add or remove pinned tracks
- presets for restoring the same pinned-track group later
Manage pinned tracks screen
You can open Manage pinned tracks in several ways:
- on the live map, press and hold on the map until the map menu appears, then choose
Manage pinned tracks - in the track list, tap the
...more button for a track and choosePinned tracks - in the track list, swipe a track row from right to left and use
Pin to live map - in common map settings, open the
Pinned trackssection

What each control does
Each pinned track row shows the recorded track name and optional note.
Visible/Eye keeps the track on the map or hides it without removing it from the pinned list.
Color changes the map line color for that pinned track.
Line width changes how thick the track line appears on the map.
Delete/X removes the track from the pinned list and from the live map.
Other actions
Add track lets you pin another recorded track.
Save as preset stores the current pinned-track set so you can restore the same group later.
Unpin all tracks clears the current pinned-track set from the map.
If a preset exists, tap it to apply it, rename it, or remove it.
Good first setup
- pin the one or two tracks you compare most often
- give each pinned track a different color
- use a thicker line for the main reference track
- hide tracks temporarily when the map gets crowded instead of unpinning them
- save a preset if you regularly switch between different track groups
