Trip Editor
Use the Trip Editor to create a trip, rename it later, add a note, and manage trip counters.
To add a new trip: MENU > TRIPS > ••• (top-right) > Add trip.
To edit an existing trip: MENU > TRIPS > Edit > tap the trip.
Create a New Trip

When you create a new trip, you can fill in:
- Name: required
- Initial mileage: optional
- Note: optional, multiline
- Synchronization: shown only if synchronization is available in your app edition
Initial mileage is useful when the trip should continue from your car’s current odometer reading instead of starting from zero.
Edit an Existing Trip

When you open an existing trip, you can:
- change the trip name
- update the note
- review or change synchronization settings
- open the trip counters
- view tracks recorded in this trip
- share or export the trip
Counters
The Counters section is collapsed by default. Tap it to expand it.
Each counter type is shown as two cards:
- Current
- Total
Counter types include:
- Distance
- Time
- Speed
- Altitude
What Current And Total Mean
Current counters reset when you start a new track or use RESET COUNTERS. Total counters stay intact and keep accumulating across multiple current-counter resets and across multiple tracks.
In practice:
- use Current when you want values for the active leg or the latest part of the trip
- use Total when you want values for the whole trip over time
Set Or Reset Counters
Use the buttons inside each card to adjust counters.
- Distance can be set or reset
- Time, Speed, and Altitude can be reset
This lets you:
- match trip distance to your real odometer
- start a counter again from zero
- keep long-term totals while resetting only current values when needed
View Tracks And Share
At the bottom of the editor you can:
- open View Tracks to see tracks recorded in the trip
- use Share to export or share trip data
Tips
- If you want the trip to match your vehicle mileage, enter Initial mileage when creating the trip.
- If you want a fresh measurement inside the same trip, reset the Current counters.
- If you want to keep a long-running trip history, use the Total counters as your main reference.
