PDF report and email export settings
PDF & Email is the screen where you set up a PDF report. Open it from Settings > PDF & Email. You can also open it while sharing points: choose PDF report in Sharing and export options, then tap the settings button beside its layout, paper size, and DPI summary. Tap Done to return to the sharing menu with PDF report still selected.
Content layout
Swipe through the layout previews and tap the one you want. You can put one, two, or four photos on a page, with or without accompanying text. The selected layout is also previewed in the sharing menu.
PDF resolution and paper format
Choose 72, 144, 216, or 288 DPI under PDF resolution, DPI. Higher DPI retains more photo and overlay detail in the report, especially when several photos share a page, and usually makes the PDF larger. DPI does not change the physical page size.
Under PDF base page format, choose A4 or US Letter for the paper size. This stays the same when you change DPI.
Text fields and point order
Tap Text (PDF, email, other) to choose the point details that accompany photos in layouts with text. These fields are also used for email and other text exports. Tap Points ordering (PDF) to choose how points are sorted in the report. See the point-ordering choices .
Back in Sharing and export options
The PDF report row shows your current layout, paper format, and DPI, so you can check them before sharing. Its settings button opens the screen above without discarding your export choice.
Photo size in the sharing menu applies to outgoing image files and standard KMZ photo attachments. It does not set PDF resolution or cap a PDF report’s file size. The menu’s Stamped or Original choice controls the photo version used for the report; it is separate from DPI.
PDF report appears when the selection contains photos. QR codes PDF is a separate option for points and can be used without photos.
